I have to be honest with you. I have tried out several Direct Sales opportunities in the past (hello Arbonne...Avon!) and it just didn't last. Looking back, my enthusiasm just wasn't there when I compare how excited I am now to be presenting Younique products. I have always loved makeup since I was first allowed to wear it. I challenge any woman to put on make up and then tell me they don't feel better about themselves! Even if you are not a "makeup person", mascara and lipgloss are always our friends!
Literally the main reason I started selling was the 3D Fiber Lash Mascara. Do you need proof...because I know as the forever skeptic that I am, I needed proof. See below. Yep, that's me!! Those are my eyes. That first picture is without mascara, the second picture is with one coat and the third picture is with two coats! Yowza! My eyes just popped. Again, being totally honest, I thought this mascara was for people with short lashes, etc. Naturally, I have pretty long lashes, and even if I use regular mascara, they are pretty defined. But this mascara just took my lashes and pumped them up to the extreme. It added length and most importantly, volume. The best part is that doesn't get all clumpy like other mascaras.
Another HUGE selling point for me to get started with Younique was that I don't have to set up parties at my house or other peoples' homes. I can do this from my cozy bed in my jammies if I wanted to! How amazing is that?? People are so busy these days and then try to schedule a party/demo and it just becomes nearly impossible. I love that all parties are done through social media. It is such a forward thinking concept in today's digital world.
Guess what, I work full time outside of the home, and then if I add in homework with the kids, cleaning, cooking, laundry and kids activities, I probably have another full time job on top of that (with the help of my awesome Hubs), and I can still do this with ease. My friend Monica who got me started in all of this, works with me during the day and has two babies under the age of 3, just started selling a week ago and has 3 online parties going at one time! It is such an innovative approach and the Hostess doesn't have to do anything except invite their friends to the online party. Amazing!!!
